Advanced Leadership Programme 2016

We are delighted to invite you to the Advanced Leadership Programme. This programme will be an

opportunity for you to build on your experience of the first year programme and hopefully learn

some new skills that will help you to continue and expand your development.  Of course it’s also a

great opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new friends and enjoy ourselves while

reconnecting with WYSE.

October is the time for second big WYSE event of 2016. On the 23rd to the 29th of October you are

invited to the wonderful Villa Bochella in Lucca, Italy to attend the 2016 ALP. The requirement for

participation is having completed an ILP any time and anywhere.

Read the attached flyer for more information.

Strategic Meeting 2015

The Strategic Meeting will be Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st February 2015 from 10am-5pm, in central London. Further details about location and directions will be sent out closer to the time.

The meetings the last couple of years have been such a success that we have again decided to invite everyone who has attended a recent ILP or ALP programme.
For those of you who don't live in the UK it is unlikely that you will be able to attend but, if you can, we would love to see you. If you are travelling to London for this event please be aware that you'll need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements.

The weekend will take the following format:
Saturday focus - Connecting together as a community, celebrating our achievements and energising our ongoing work into 2015, followed by a social dinner together.

Sunday focus - Working together on a variety of projects, including Communications, Online Leadership Resource, Fundraising and Recruitment of Participants. We will also use this day to create practical mechanisms for people to continue to projects by finding ways to volunteer for WYSE.

We are very happy for people to join us on one or both days, but please let us know by emailing allie (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) directly (stating which day/s you want to attend) and if you will be attending dinner on Saturday night.

Programmes 2014

We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming programmes this year. So far, we have the following programmes planned:

  • an International Leadership Programme which will take place in our beloved Villa Bochella in Lucca, Italy from 27 July - 7 August – please start spreading the word to your networks, to people that you believe will benefit from this unique programme, as the application process is now open.
  • Tentative dates for the Advanced Leadership Programme are 19-24 October 2014 (to be confirmed). This programme is only open to participants who have completed the ILP, so if this sounds like the step that you are looking to take, please apply now, as places are limited. This course is only run every second year, so this opportunity is really worth considering.

A few places left for the Italy ILP 2013

Over recent years the WYSE International Leadership Programme has continued to build on its reputation as one of the most transformational, unique and valuable leadership programmes available..and that is partly due to the quality of participants who often come recommended by existing alumni and supporters.

The deadline is approaching for applications for this year’s ILP in Lucca (28 July to 8th August) and as there are still some places left we would like to ask you to help us to pass on information about the programme to those in your work, education, community or other networks who you think may be interested.

We would ask that you think of the two or three best suited people (18-35) and to contact them directly (call them, email/ facebook them) telling them why you think the ILP would be of interest to them, and send them to this page on our website for more information. We really appreciate your continued support.
