Tasneem Kakal is a student of Sociology - Economics at St. Xavier's College. She likes working with different projects which work towards social change. Her passion for community development was fuelled when she saw the influences of a capitalist framework in the Indian context. She has worked with her university's Social Service League for three years and ran an environment-focussed pilot project with them as well. She recognizes knowledge and believes that social change can only be brought about by changing 'ways of thinking'. She loves to travel, read, and is a Sociology enthusiast.
