Applications now open for the 2025 WYSE International Leadership Programme in Kenya, 7th - 18th January 2025. Thirty Emerging Leaders aged 18-35 from across the world and a diverse range of professions and socio economic backgrounds will take part in an intensive, challenging and rewarding 12 day residential leadership programme to work together for global change.
WYSE International has been running International Leadership programmes for over 20 years with participants from over 100 countries. In the last year WYSE has made a commitment to expand the reach and accessibility of its programmes by having a programme in Kenya for the first time. Africa is a continent full of possibilities, as well as challenges, large amounts of resource and the youngest population in the world. Therefore, it is an exciting time to be supporting young leaders to come together to find innovative ways to tap into this potential for global benefit.
If you have never been to Kenya, this is a great opportunity to visit a country of beauty, culture and amazing wildlife. If you are Kenyan, this is an opportunity on your doorstep to access an international programme.
The programme is to be held at The Wildlife Foundation, near Kitengela. The Foundation is an animal conservation and maintains a community-based conservation that fosters a peaceful coexistence between humans, wildlife, and livestock. It is 1 hour’s drive out of the capital city of Nairobi.
Apply now, if you are 18-35 and have a strong interest in global citizenship and finding solutions to global challenges, have a vision of creating positive change in your community and would like to benefit from a highly challenging personal and professional development programme.
The programme is delivered by our international team of highly experienced leadership development and education professionals. They provide their services on a pro-bono basis, meaning WYSE can offer full tuition scholarships to all selected participants. Along with the coaching which is offered after the programme, this in kind donation of services from the staff team has been valued at over £7500 per participant.
The final cost to participants is £990 to cover food, accommodation and administration. As part of our efforts to include as many young leaders as possible from diverse backgrounds, WYSE provides a bursary scheme for those in most need to support the costs of their programme fees. The bursary scheme is highly competitive and only covers a proportion of the £990 programme fee (normally ranging between 20% and 45% of the programme fee). Please visit our bursaries page to find out more.
