Gay Slivia Machaka, Zimbabwe

I am a 30-year-old Engineer and mother of one, currently studying toward a Master's degree in Renewable Energy at the University of Zimbabwe. I founded an organization, Extra Hour in 2021 December, that focuses on sustainable rural development through digital inclusion and affordable access to clean energy. I have a passion to reduce the time that low-income communities lose on mundane and repetitive tasks that can be digitized/automated, freeing more time for productive activities.
