Alice Quintão Soares
Lourdes, Brazil
My name is Alice and I work in projects related to social innovation and social business, aiming to bring some change to the way things are done. I am deeply driven by the causes I believe in and I am very aware about my part in making it all happen. The WYSE Program has worked in my life as a vehicle of transformation, being a source of inspiration and motivation. I have learned during WYSE that leadership is not about being on the top, but about knowing how to transform a group of individuals with no previous connection into a team that believes in its own power and will.
Daniela Gonçalves Ferreira
Brazil
My name is Daniela, I am a student of International Relations and I took part in the International Leadership Program of WYSE Italy in July 2015.
WYSE is a life changer; I believe everyone should have the chance to pass through this amazing experience, you will not find some participant of WYSE that disagrees with that! The family I gained in Italy is beautiful, but I feel that not only them, but every participant of WYSE belongs to this family and I can feel their support net for me every day when I need the strength that I don´t have on my own.
Derson Lopes
São Paulo, Brazil
I have been spending all my life working to help people to be excellent. My current job helps me to do it, as professor and facilitator in two international companies. Besides that, I have been working leading volunteers in international short-term projects for 10 years. I got a passion for WYSE in a first sight. It was very impressive to me the world changing purpose starting from each community. All the opportunities for self-awareness and leadership were quite a transformer and impacting for my life. I hope help as people as possible to have this amazing experience.
Elena Galofre
Bogota, Colombia
I believe there is a greater purpose in life and it is our mission to find it and fulfil it, I also believe in the good in people. I have been working in the corporate world for 7 years now and have always felt there was something missing. I have been working to "find myself" for some time now and figure out where to go next.
WYSE helped me to understand who I am and helped me find the courage I needed to follow my path and pursue my dreams. It is and will always be an important tool for me as it helped me to understand life, the world and that I am not alone. I wish to help other people gain knowledge through WYSE as it is something I carry dear to my heart. I believe the skills learned through WYSE can help people become better and together, make a better world.

Rafael de Melo Silveira

I am passionate about life and all the great wonders that are out there in the world. I own a funeral home and I believe that even in my job there is joy, it all depends on the perspective you take. I try every day to comfort my customer’s families and to diminish their pain and grief through the human connection. I truly believe that connecting with people helps me understand a bit more about the world and about myself. WYSE gave me both, connection with people from all over the world, and a better understanding of myself.
Verônica Mendonça da Silva
Brazil
My name is Verônica and I am an enthusiast about meaningful work. I have been taking part in the area of human rights in social projects aimed at youth since 2010. I didn't know back then but this work is taking me far on the journey to my purpose: to support life, celebrate people and vice-versa. I am passionate about Wyse because the International Leadership Programme gave me the chance to discover whom I was born to be and also it gave me the tools to work towards it. The most important tool to me is the community we create. Now, I would love to support other people on their journey.
