Lilan Dayananda is an international award-winning young social tech entrepreneur who is among the latest top ten Social Entrepreneurs of the Global South according to the United Nations. Lilan was recognized among the top meaningful business founders in 2023 by Ernst & Young (EY), Hogan Lovells Global Law Firms, and Babson College.
For years, his social initiatives have come up with innovative solutions that can apply to climate action and biodiversity restoration. The Earth Restoration LifeForce Project aims to facilitate new transparent investment opportunities in biological resources & related management while incentivizing landowner participation in the restoration process through the positive externalities values (Primary Ecosystem Services) transacted from their landscape to the Global Commons. We have the world’s first validated methodology to quantify the human contribution to Primary Ecosystem Services with international and local, forestry and ecology experts’ peer reviews.
