I am a passionate about diversity, equity and inclusivity. I say this from the position of privilege, having had a top class education despite coming from a third world country. I have travelled the world, worked with high ranking officials, never been hungry in my life but I cannot stand inequity. It makes me shudder with anger and my stomach flips. I need to help those who are vulnerable to understand their true potential just like I am aware of mine.

Through the project Quality Education For All, I aim to improve the quality of education in public schools located in Kathmandu valley. Teachers will be capacitated to provide enhanced and individualized support to students who will have improved performance and confidence in and out of classrooms.

I am a young and enthusiastic leader, trainer, mentor, or just a person who is born to make positive change around her. I love to lead my team to success. It is already 8 years that I am involved in teaching and working with children, it is my passion. I am interested in working with children from different social classes and backgrounds. I love to listen to their stories and share mine with them.

Teach free not only aims to provide free education but also is a great platform for self-development and individual growth. Adults who buy English language courses, get an education and become part of a charity. GO Language school team prepares all the video and audio materials and posts them on the Teach Free Platform. Children who will apply for Teach Free should have great motivation to learn, so they will join our platform and get FREE education for 6 months period.

Olayemi Arowolo, Nigeria

Olayemi is the Head, Minigrids for Husk Power Systems Nigeria. She is an Electrical Engineering with experience working in the Energy and FMCG sectors. She has a knack for an impact driven life with ensuring business profitability, sustainability and efficiency. She is actively involved in the energy space in Nigeria as she leads the minigrid team to oversee deployment and operations of minigrids in rural areas in Nigeria, causing transformation in economies and socio cultural behaviours due to introduction of power supply. She also has an NGO called "Adopt a child" that connects underprivileged children to financial sponsors.

More than half of the children in rural areas don’t have access to quality education, this is a gap “Adopt a child” has chosen to fill. Adoptachild.ng is an initiative aimed at ensuring not-so-privileged children have quality education by connecting them with financial sponsors around the world, who in turn become mentors to these children. The target is to have sponsored ten thousand children by 2030.

Noragbai P Naimah, Liberia

Noragbai P Naimah is a student at the University of Liberia studying Demography major and Economics minor. He is a 2020 fellow of the YALI Regional Leadership Center and an Ambassador of the World Literacy Foundation. He currently serves as the head of the Committee on Drugs and Alcohol Abuse of the Revamp Circle. Naimah is the founder and CEO of a Student Activist organization that promotes SDGs goal #4 called Youth for Quality Education. Naimah was recently certified as a human rights activist by the African Middle Eastern Leadership Center and a Fellow of the Millennium Fellowship.

Eradicating Illiteracy and Promoting Lifelong Education (EIPLE) is an independent project led by Noragbai P Naimah that addresses issues of illiteracy and gender inequality in education through advocacies, awareness, and literacy and numeracy training to advance the Sustainable Development Goal #4

Nishit Sangomla, India

I am a chemical engineer in my area of study and a development professional in my area of work. Over the last six years, I have worked extensively at the grassroots of India, to understand, empathise and contribute to the positive change in people's lives and economy. I started working with artisan communities to generate livelihoods but soon realised the interconnectedness between the different SDGs. The interconnectedness of crafts to culture, history, livelihoods, economy, environment, climate change and to education inspires me to keep working to understand the sector better and work on building an all-inclusive organization.

We offer design and business education for artisans using an approach based on honoring and incorporating existing traditions and teaching a spectrum of others about rural traditions.The institution's curricula, schedule, and language of instruction are designed to accommodate the lifestyles of its artisans. The only prerequisite for admission is knowledge of traditional crafts. We have had over 200 graduates from the course so far

Mykyta Pobiehun, Ukraine

As a master's student at Vilnius University, a participant in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, national moot courts, and models of the UN, I possess in-depth knowledge of International and European law and have excellent oral pleading and research skills. Owing to an internship at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Independent Defence Anti-Corruption Committee, I am acquainted with legislation reviewing procedures, policy-making and legal drafting.

Due to my work in Catalyst 2030, I have experience implementing the SDGs and organising humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The project's primary mission is to support Ukrainian social entrepreneurs during the war and help in post-war development. Therefore, the project aims to help Ukrainian social entrepreneurs to obtain a qualified workforce by restructuring university education in Ukraine, amending the legal framework and identifying the current needs of the social sector in Ukraine. Also, in accordance with the existing action plan, the project seeks to facilitate and promote communication and cooperation of Ukrainian social entrepreneurs with various actors: governments, NGOs, corporations and funders.

Martin Shiloh Ponce Pabon, Argentina

Martin Shiloh Ponce Pabon is a Bolivian, always pushing to create a prosperous, beautiful and fair planet through creative ideas, bridge building and social entrepreneurship. Martin is the Co-Founder and Campaign Coordinator of Red Internacional de Promotores ODS Bolivia, an organization focused on spreading the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 agenda through international advocacy campaigns. These campaigns demonstrate the importance of technological training for all students, regardless of their gender or career path, as technology has the potential to transform communities. Martin has organized events that have reached 9000+ people across Latin America.

The mission of Red Internacional de Promotores ODS Bolivia is to create a space that brings together all young people, articulating efforts, actions, experiences and knowledge to work helping children, youth and adults to promote social inclusion, programs to generate opportunities for access to education, defense of the rights of young people, people with disabilities, women and indigenous people

She is the Founder of 21st Century Dews, which focuses on helping African Youth with their educational and business needs. She is a UPG Sustainability Leader with a keen interest in women empowerment and youth empowerment. She is a software developer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She is passionate about creating technological solutions in medicine and education in Africa.

21st Century Dews focuses on providing youths in rural areas with relevant digital skills, as well as soft skills,to be able to be more relevant in society and competitive in the global job market.

Linly Dumuka, Malawi

Linly holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, currently working with SRHR Africa Trust (SAT). She has 5 years’ work experience coordinating and supporting efforts on good health and wellbeing, gender equality, quality education and ending poverty. She managed partnerships on service delivery of contraception, COVID-19, HIV/STI and mental health in Malawi. Linly co-founded We Empower265 and has 2 years’ consultancy experience in designing/implementing gender equality, SRHR and HIV prevention programs nationally and globally, working with UN agencies, University of Washington, International Partnership for Microbicides and Johns Hopkins Research project.

"GROWING SPACES" it is a jointly implemented initiative by We Empower 265 and Youth Empowerment for Development which seeks to empower adolescents (12-19 years old) in secondary school to remain and excel in education by addressing academic, gender and health issues that affect their education.

My Name is Isaac Chitenta, I am the Founder and current Director General/Project manager of Toping Crue Foundation a Grass-root non-profit making organization that is fighting for equality, ending poverty and vulnerability through community education and community empowerment. Hold Bachelor’s degree in Law, (LLB) with excellence in human rights law, Gender issues, children's and women right rights. i have a certificate in community development and provides guidance and cancelling for Teenager mothers, Gender based violence victims/couples, families and village community groups. Iam also an area councillor for Simatobolo ward of Livingstone constituency southern province of Zambia.

Tonse vulnerable children’s education project: This project is aimed at alleviating poverty and vulnerability through provision of education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children which include children of illegal migrants. I am providing free quality early childhood, primary, and secondary education opportunities for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged which also include Teenager mothers where iam providing Teen mothers back to school free Teen mothers back to school scholarship opportunities for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged girls and Teenager mothers , girls bellow the age of 19 who had dropped out of school due to pregnancy so that they can continue their education, ensuring that none of them is left behind as the rest of the world move forward to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Imani Buro Robert, Uganda

My name is Imani Buro Robert I’m from the Democratic Republic of Congo living in Uganda since 2013, I’m the co-founder of NLDA(New Hope in Languages and Development Association) in western Uganda and I'm working as a Coach in AVSI Uganda in the USAID Graduating to Resilience funded project from April 2018 up to now.in NLDA i always work as the communication officer and our intervention is in terms of education, we offer education services to adult refugee women who had no chances of attending schools in their country of origin, to be able to read, write, count.

Functional Adult Literacy/FAL Project: This project which is under Education wishes to offer the refugee population and other members of the host, to attend language courses to enhance their language skills and / or promote and foster integration. It will offer three main courses: English to adults with language barriers, French and Swahili to humanitarian staff and host community members desiring to learn and improve their delivery quality in communicating with clients, and literacy and numeracy to adults of whom women representing 80%.

I am a visionary community and global leader passionate about quality and equitable access to education (SDG 4), youth coaching/mentoring, entrepreneurship and community service. I am currently studying at the Nigerian Law School, a graduate of Law from the American University of Nigeria, Yola, former President of the Law Students Society AUN, and Miss AUN (2018/19). I am the Executive Director of Thinking Cap Literacy Initiative, an NGO aimed at rolling back illiteracy among Nigerian children using creative methods. I am a serial volunteer and changemaker, having piloted numerous community projects in my 10 years of community service engagement.

TCLI stands for Thinking Cap Literacy Initiative. It is a free community library and educational resource center for underprivileged children to have access to books and other educational resources to aid their learning. It will also have a reading clinic to tutor those who do not know how to read. It is located in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

I'm a 22-year-old young Congolese who was born in the eastern region of my country, a region plagued by wars and armed conflicts. Growing up in the throes of war, I have forged an ideal for myself, that of ending these long-standing conflicts by peaceful means.i've been studying engineering since high school and I have a degree in Industrial Electricity and currently I am continuing my studies in industrial construction of buildings. Wanting to pursue my childhood dream, I initiated and founded a non-profit organization that puts young people at the center of community development through debates.

Fondation les Débatteurs Sans Frontière FDSF is formed to educate young people to become actors of sustainable development of community by debate contest.

I am Ayanda Kubheka from South Africa who holds a strong passion in the quality education space. I am a qualified educator with honours degree in educational support services. I have participated in a number of professional development courses to try and attain quality of education. I have even open a non profit organization which seeks to promote and incite interest from the youth on the education fraternity. We also motivate, help learners with career guidance, special classes and applications.

I am a development practitioner holding a hands on experience of 8 years in the development sector. My journey in development sector started from bachelor degree in social work profession and my passion towards this sector cater me an ample opportunities to work with National and International NGO's assignments align with sustainable development goals thematic areas. Presently, I am working as CSR Coordinator at 'CHIREC Educational Society' it is a part of Cognita Group of Schools based out in London. My role here is to lead the CSR department of the school and plan social initiatives for school children.

CHIREC SDG Action Team is a voluntary group that can contribute in educating the local communities about the SDG goals and their importance in one life.

I am Antara Ibnat Audhaya, a passionate, hardworking creative problem solver pursuing undergraduate education in the English language focusing on English Language Teaching in the top public university in my country. While pursuing my undergraduate studies, I realised our education system is still confined to archaic pedagogical structures both in and outside the classroom in terms of second language instruction. With my expertise in this arena, I am nurturing a community of practice of 1500 like-minded individuals, reaching out to more than 10,000 people daily with our educational content that promotes ensuring the quality of education.

Guide to English Language' has impacted more than 15,000 lives through its digital content so far. We nurture a community of 1500 enthusiasts (mainly from Bangladesh but retain learners from India, Srilanka, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates too) who learn from its educational content together. As the resources are easily accessible online, this initiative has the potential to cross borders and help those who are actively searching for further guidance on English Language learning.

Alice Acomo, Uganda

My name is Acomo Alice a female Ugandan aged 30 years old. I am a proprietor of Mt. Gerizim Nursery and Primary school, vision bearer, and founder of Serve the Nation Uganda, an initiative started to improve the quality and level of education in Northern Uganda the community living in extreme poverty with a low level of education .supporting children to achieve their education and empower the local community with diverse knowledge, livelihoods, and resources in order to pay their children to school. I also offer business and financial management consultancy services to young people and emerging organizations/institutions.

Our project envisioned an educated community by empowering parents through training, drama play and school fee loans so that they are able to pay their children to school until these children achieve their education dream and are able to serve Uganda and the world at large with their skills, talent and giftings. We also run life skill training, seminars,scholarships to vulnerable girls and exposure tours to the school going children.

Ms. Tawana-Madziba is an economist, social entrepreneur and author of a book titled, Raising Money-Smart Kids. She is the founder of Fin-Edu, a social enterprise that seeks to empower children and youth with financial life skills. 

Her focus is on empowering children with financial literacy, particular those in rural communities through Fin-Edu. Having recognised that financial literacy is a critical life skill for participation in the modern economy. She believes all children should have access to quality financial literacy and resources that can enable them to confidently make wise financial decisions.

She also co-hosts a financial education programme called “Raising Money-Smart Kids” which airs on a national radio station, RB2 FM in Botswana. The aim is to educate and encourage parents across the country, regardless of income status or educational background, to start teaching their children goo money skills and habits from an early age.

He has worked in the Education sector with a fair share of experience of 7 years now and Non Governmental Organisations (NGO) for close to 6 years that include: World Vision Zambia (Humantarian Emergency Affairs), Travel for Change Adventures (TFCA), World Literacy Foundation (WLF), Youth Opportunities( YO) to  mention but a few.

Furthermore, he is till date an Associate Editor - Zambia Law Association Students Journal where he has diligently and committedly served.

Am Joseph Were born and bred in Nairobi, Kenya. Growing up in Kibera slum, I did experience several challenges ranging from inadequate parental care, education, and peer influence. As a result, this motivated me to give back to the society hence developed passion for service and embraced a fanatical interest to reach out and provide mentorship to my fellow youths. I reflect a varied personality including ambition and have extensive leadership experience working with communities.

I work with Imarika Youth as a Programs Assistant and M&E personnel. Under WYSE leadership training, my project is addressing SDG 4 on quality education and my focus is on tackling unemployment among the youths who have finished high school and are not privileged to proceed to university or college through life skills and entrepreneurship training. My goal is to empower youths to be independent and influential by impacting their communities and improving their livelihoods.
